I would like to introduce a new addition to our family. DUKE! Duke is a 5 year old Blue Tick Coon Hound that we've had for a little more than a day. When Lilly and I originally considered getting a dog, we were thinking along the lines of Golden Retriever or a Lab, then we met Duke. He is fitting in nicely with our lifestyle...the adventure continues....

Happy Mother's Day

I just left the Britannia Pub around an hour and a half ago. That's when a good fellow wearing a bright red shirt took this picture. It's a picture of me with Crystal (left) and Brandy (right). These are two of my buddies from the days of when I used to perform every Tuesday night at the Tickled Toad. I was so happy to see them. Brandy is now a mother, and so I wish her Happy Mother's Day. Of course I wish my mother, the one and only Francesca, a very Happy Mother's Day.

Not only did we celebrate her birthday, she also spoke with me about the many country music legends that she saw perform live....including the great Johnny Cash....the adventure continues....

Earth Hour @ The Wolf with me and Nate and Lance

It was Saturday 27 March, Earth Hour 2010. The night that we experieced at the Wolf & Firkin all began with me and Nate and Lance at the bar.....that was all we had so far....They lit candles on the tables in preperation for the darkness that was about to descend upon the city in recognition of Earth Hour. And so for one hour I played instrumental guitar. Nate kept the lights low all night and the mood was one of intimacy and serenity. The initial essence of the evening is captured in the video provided.

Happy Birthday Harry,

Below is a picture of me with Mike (Papu) in the back room at Willie Stouts. He is Harry's dad, and what a great guy he is. When I spoke with him, he mostly talked about how important his grand kids and children were in his life. The night was filled with celebration for his son, Harry. I am always so impressed when I see such close knit families getting together to share important milestone events...the adventure continues....

Well it's Irish Day again. That's when my name changes to Augy 'O' G (Billy thought that one up). It never fails at Billy's pub (Willie Stouts-Aka Phoenix & Firkin). St. Paddy's Day is always a blast....Cheers!

Circus On Elm Street

There's still time to come and hang out on Elm Street tonight. All the restaurants and businesses have their individual offerings, and there are some impressive ice sculptures. The street is essentially blocked off until around 9 PM. After that you can pop into the Wolf & Firkin, where I will be performing....the adventure continues...
